No I haven't installed it yet. Still trying to figure out if it's going to be worth it.
The info I have is that it creates a player list log in your PB files. SOoo, if that
is all it does, not sure if we really need it. I am checking on that. If any
visitors or members know the answers, post away...

New info: It records a list of those who are cheating.

I see.... So it's a list of peeps that Nova caught and banned from their server for cheating.......and if you put up a private server you can ban the cheaters as well... Is that it?  |

im not sure either what it does, but i do know that if you serve with it people have to have it to join.So i guess it is a form of Cheat Blocker. ;D

i have punkbuster installed on my system and it didn't add to my lag.
supposedly it is a anti-cheat program though not fool-proof.
i do know that if i host a game only those with pb can join that game.

so it is like "cheat blocker" then. Well somewhere somebody said it's supose to keep a log of known cheaters in your files. I had already posted this in AuW forums, because we got into a discussion about it on TS. I looked in my pb files, and found a violation log, and found these people in there. 1) MoJoeJoeJo 2) IcE-Spyder 3) IcE-INSANE Ol' Yella looked in his, and only seen IcE-Spyder, and IcE-INSANE. Now like i said on their forums, im not acusing them of cheating, i just don't know why they are in my violation log.  |

i do know that if i host a game only those with pb can join that game. hmmm.. ..Maybe that explains why I can't get into some servers. (um...duh)  Guess I have to get the PB patch... |
